Saddle trial policy
This page is the trial agreement summary. It is not buried in the general terms of service.
Duration
5 days. Day 1 is the first calendar day after the saddle is delivered to the address you give us — or the day you take possession at a barn or show, if we hand it to you in person.
Payment and security
A trial may require a hold or payment authorization for the saddle and outbound shipping. We confirm this before the saddle leaves. It is not a completed purchase until you tell us you are buying, or the trial converts under the agreement we send you.
Shipping
Outbound and return shipping are arranged by Enger Co. unless we agree otherwise in writing. Signature and declared value apply. Transit risk is allocated in the trial confirmation we send; do not assume the carrier invoice is the whole policy.
Return
The saddle must be handed to the return carrier (or to us in person) by the end of Day 5, in the same condition, with the same billets, panels, and accessories we sent, less ordinary trial wear.
Damage, loss, and condition
Damage beyond ordinary trial use, missing parts, or loss while the saddle is in your care may be charged. We photograph inventory before it leaves.
Purchase
To buy, say so before the deadline. We apply the trial hold toward the price where the confirmation says we will. Inventory is one unit: if the saddle sells elsewhere during an overlapping hold, we will not double-book it.
