This Privacy Policy describes how Enger & Co Sport Horses, LLC (“Enger Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit Enger Co. Sport Horses, shop, book a fitting or trial, submit a Find My Saddle request, consign a saddle, or contact us. It is adapted from counsel-drafted Showjumping World documents (last modified May 20, 2026) for this retail and service website.

1. Introduction

We collect only what we need to run a saddle, tack, and fitting business: to fulfill orders, schedule work, evaluate consignment, and, if you ask us to, send inventory and show updates. We do not sell your personal information or your email list.

2. Children and minors

This website is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have information about a minor, contact us and we will delete it except where we must retain a transaction record.

3. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Identity and contact: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address.
• Order and payment details: items, amounts, and fulfillment status. Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers as full card data.
• Horse and rider notes you choose to send: horse name, barn, show, discipline, fit notes, and appointment preferences.
• Find My Saddle notes: what you are shopping for, current saddle details, what is not working, and optional photo links.
• Consignment information you provide about a saddle you wish to sell.
• Communications: messages, emails, and appointment notes.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, and similar log data.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the cart, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or similar government identifiers as part of ordinary shopping or fitting requests.

4. How we collect it

We collect information you submit in forms, checkout, email, phone, and at the barn or horse show. We collect technical data automatically from your browser. We may receive limited information from payment, shipping, and email providers needed to complete a transaction.

5. How we use it

We use personal information to:

• Process orders, trials, fittings, custom consultations, Find My Saddle requests, and consignment.
• Confirm appointments and communicate about inventory, shipping, and service.
• Verify that a one-of-one saddle is actually available before sale or trial.
• Send inventory and show updates when you opt in. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Improve the website, prevent fraud, and comply with law, tax, and accounting requirements.

Optional photos or photo links you send with a Find My Saddle request are used only to reply about a saddle, not for advertising.

6. Who we disclose it to

We share information with service providers who help us operate: payment processing (Stripe), shipping (including Shippo and carriers), email delivery, hosting, and analytics. They may use the information only to perform work for us. We may share what is necessary with a manufacturer or representative when a custom order or warranty requires it. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a sale of the business. We do not sell personal information.

Horse listings and buying research on Showjumping World or Horse Scouts are separate services. If you leave this site to use them, their privacy policies apply.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools that are necessary to run checkout and the site, and may use others to understand traffic. You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may limit cart or checkout.

8. Your rights

Subject to law and records we must keep for orders and tax, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Contact hello@engercosporthorses.com or call 469.260.1185. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9. State privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a state privacy right, email hello@engercosporthorses.com with the subject line “Privacy request” and your state of residence. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

10. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small retail and service business, including HTTPS and a third-party payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the site at your own risk in that respect.

11. Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes above, including order history, trial and consignment records, and legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last modified” date will change when we do. Material changes may be posted on this page or emailed when we have your address for that purpose.
